As Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez's Las Vegas residencies come to a close, it sounds like Lady Gaga is set to hit the Sin City strip in late 2018 for her very own venture.
Earlier this week, rumors swirled around that the pop titan will announce a series of 36 shows at The Park Theater at Monte Carlo. As of right now, the venture is set to launch in the fourth quarter of 2018 and run for one full year. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, "Gaga is to earn approximately $400,000 per performance. A source familiar with her contract says online reports of her signing a deal worth $100 million for 60 shows are "way, way, way, off."
After opening in December 2016, The Park has welcomed a string of resident headliners like The Pretenders and Stevie Nicks, Cher, Bruno Mars and Ricky Martin.
Prior to her Super Bowl LI halftime show, Mother Monster teased the days when she would join the strip for her very own residency. "I'm excited someday to do that," she said during a radio interview. "I love Las Vegas and the people there, and I love show business. I’m a real old-fashioned girl."
